By Bonnie Malkin
Buzz Aldrin has weighed in on debate over the moon landing after conspiracy theorists used the 46th anniversary of the event to suggest it was faked.
Professor Brian Cox was first to take on the landing deniers, writing on Twitter that anyone who believed the Apollo 11 landing didn’t happen was a “colossal nob end”
Mr Aldrin weighed in shortly later with another brilliant tweet.
Comedian Al Murray also got in on the act.
To mark the anniversary of the landing, Mr Aldrin tweeted pictures of his moon walk.
