Robert Kopecky, author of How to Survive Life (and Death)
from Conari Press/Weiser Books. It’s a serious, but fun book about death—and life—from someone with uncommon qualifications. It’s based on my three wild distinctly different Near Death Experiences (which I’m happy to describe, and happier to have survived), and what I learned from each of them. I don’t emphasize heavenly scenarios, but the profound meanings of the three experiences, what a “death” experience means to our culture, and the ways we may approach and deal with it.
I talk about death (and life), the near-death phenomenon, consciousness and our relationship to it, the death with dignity “movement” and more with humor and directness. I can also discuss my mystical, miraculous path to authorship; and Love, fear, pain, karma, grieving, “rebirth” and more. My goal is to defuse fears and discuss death and “the paranormal” in a realistic, fun, and inspiring way.
I’m happy to send press material, if you wish. My blog, Art, Faith, and the Koko Lion, averages from 8—10,000 visitors per month. I’m a guest columnist at Gaia.com; and a featured author by the Utne Reader; The Mindful Word, Soul Life Times, Beliefnet, Innerself, & more; a guest of the NY Open Center’s “Art of Dying 5,” of BBC Radio (and more than 60 other radio appearances). I was a featured speaker at the International Association for Near Death Studies 2016 Conference, and have several more events scheduled this year.
My second book, How to Go To Heaven, is due out early 2018.
Host Michael Vara is joined by Author & experiencer Robert Kopecky to discuss life and death . Robert shared his own near death experiences with us and so much more.
